MSU BD hatches are designed for surface mount applications where flush design is not required. These hatches are non-load bearing and are an economical choice.
Safety controls are engineered right into all MSU access hatches.
BD access hatches are:
- All aluminum construction
- Raised weatherproof, 75 mm angle frame design
- Neoprene seal between frame and concrete surface reduces infiltration
- Shoebox lid reduces infiltration
- External lifting handle and lock mechanism (padlocks by others)
- Hold-open arm, in type 316 stainless steel, locks lid safely at 90 degrees vertical
- Heavy duty extruded hinging system
- All bolts and wedge anchors in stainless steel, type 304
- Welding to CSA W47.2
MSU BD hatches are manufactured in single and double door units only
